Mr. Zhao Yanxu in accompany with Mr. Wang Tongjun, deputy general manager of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd, investigated and inspected the Hungary - Serbia Railway Project.

From June 21 to 22, local time in Serbia, Mr. Zhao Yanxu, general manager of the group company, accompanied Wang Tongjun, deputy general manager of China State Railway Group Company, inspected the Hungary - Serbia Railway. Wei Qiang, deputy director of engineering management department of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd , Luo Qingzhong, vice president of China Academy of Railway Science Corporation Limited, Ju Guojiang, general manager of China State Railway International Co.,Ltd, Wen Gang, vice president of China Communications Construction Company Limited, Hu Xiaoyong, general manager of EPC joint venture project, Gao Yufeng, deputy general manager of the company, accompanied by the unit leader of China Railway Design Group Co. Ltd, China Railway Signal & Communication Co., Ltd, China Railway Construction Electrification Bureau Group Co., Ltd, China Railway Material Group Corporation and other companies.

On June 21st, Wang Tongjun and other leaders visited the exhibition hall of the Hungary - Serbia Railway Project and the ETCS-2 System Laboratory. Subsequently, Wang Tongjun organized all the participation units to hold a work report meeting in the office of the EPC Joint Venture Project Department to listen to Hu Xiaoyong's progress report on the construction of the Belgrade Central Station to the Stara Pazova section and the promotion of the Novi Sad to Subotica project.After listening to the work report of the design and construction units of China Railway Design Group Co. Ltd, China Railway Signal & Communication Co.,Ltd, China Railway 21st Bureau Group Co., Ltd, China Railway Construction Electrification Bureau Group Co., Ltd, China Railway Material Group Corporation and other relevant companies, Wang Tongjun pointed out that doing a good job in the Hungary-Serbia Railway is a matter of establishing a national image. All participating companies should raise the Hungary – Serbia Railway to a political height, take out unique skill, and make a bright spot to successfully complete the construction task. He requested that the EPC joint venture project department should conduct unified command and strengthen coordination; the design companies should optimize the design and stabilize the plan; the construction companies such as China Railway 21st Bureau Group Co., Ltd should fully consider the construction period, organize the construction on site, and make full use of the local labor force.

On behalf of China Railway 21st Bureau Group Co., Ltd, Zhao Yanxu reported on the project overview, organization, the development of the Beize section and the construction preparation of the Zejiu section.

On June 22, Zhao Yanxu accompanied Wang Tongjun and Dushan Garibovic ,General Manager of Serbian Railway CorporationIron and other relevant personnel to inspect the construction and preparation of the New Belgrade Station, Zemun Station, Zemun Poje Station and the Stara Pazova Station. Wang Tongjun had an in-depth exchange of views with Duchamp Garibovich on the Chinese program, communication equipment, and signal control technology.

After the on-site reconnaissance, Wang Tongjun organized the participating companies to hold an on-site meeting in the EPC Joint Venture Project Department to put forward specific requirements for the next step. First, the design companies of EPC joint venture should take the lead and China Railway 21st Bureau Group Co., Ltd should cooperate to stabilize the relevant programs. Secondly, the design companies of  EPC joint venture should optimize the design of the  signal building of the Stara Pazova station . Thirdly, China Railway 21st Bureau Group Co., Ltd and other companies should organize the invitation of Serbian officials to visit Chinese railway, Forthly, the housing construction project must conform to the Serbian style and the passenger tunnel, gates and subgrade projects must be ensured aesthetic appearance. Fifthly, the construction companies should strengthen the construction force and on-site organization as soon as possible to optimize the construction process; the Zejiu section should be promoted according to the new concept of the two stations and one section and China Railway 21st Bureau Group Co., Ltd should arrange the construction period reasonably. Sixthly, all the participating companies should work hard on safety control, make sure the employees have a unified standard of mentality, and must strictly educate and train laborers to ensure that Chinese personnel are safe and secure. Seventh, all participating construction companies must implement the theme education activities of “not forgetting the initial heart and keeping in mind the mission”. The EPC joint venture project department should follow the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to coordinate the deployment, implement the work of party building, strengthen team building, and through the “bridgehead” of the Hungary-Serbia Railway, it fully demonstrated to Europe the technical equipment, control capabilities and information management level of the Chinese railway.

Zhao Yanxu made a statement on behalf of China Railway 21st Bureau Group Co., Ltd, saying that it will organize construction forces in strict accordance with the requirements of China State Railway Group Co.,Ltd, China State Railway International Co.,Ltd and EPC joint venture Project Management Department, reasonably arrange the construction period, and go all out to do a good job.

EPC joint venture project department staffs and all of the the relevant responsible comrades of the EPC joint venture project department and the construction project department of each participating companies participated in the above activities.

It is also known that during the investigation of the Hungary-Serbia Railway, Zhao Yanxu accompanied Wang Tongjun paid a visit to H.E  Zorana Mihajlovi, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transportation and Infrastructure, and H. E Ambassador Chen Bo, Chinese Ambassador to Serbia.
